Jason Wood introduces European film distribution including: a discussion on how distribution and exhibition works with James King, (Theatrical Sales Manager Curzon Artificial Eye) the role of the sales agent and a guide to distribution agreements. Explore the role of sales agents, how they are appointed and the key attributes you should look for in a good distribution deal with Simon Osborn, Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Protagonist Pictures.

Rebecca De Pas introduces film markets and delivers a practical seminar on how to prepare and present a film project to possible partners/producers in the context of co-production markets.

Moderated by Professor Sarah Perks, Artistic Director: Visual Art for HOME and a film producer, this roundtable explores the current situation of public funding for feature film in Europe, with a special focus on artist film and new opportunities across the sector. Museum and Artists’ Feature Films Distribution and Exhibition (Florence)
The roundtable explores new possibilities offered by non-theatrical distribution and the role of museums in the exhibition of artist feature films. Guests include: Joana Hadjithomas (artist), Jaap Guldemond (Director of Exhibitions EYE Film Museum Amsterdam), Tobias Pausinger (co- founder Art:Film and Media Consultant). FINAL PITCH
The participants pitch their films in a 10min session to a jury of industry professionals and producers as Laura Israel (Filmaker), Elisa Larrier (Producer), Leonardo Bigazzi and Sarah Perks. The event will also be open to key funders and industry figures invited for this occasion, among them: Erika Balsom, Rebecca De Pas, Tobias Pausinger, Marietta von Hausswolff von Baumgarten. The jury will decide the winners of the Feature Expanded Distribution Award, Feature Expanded Development Award and ottod’Ame Film Award.
